
A | (ECNS) -- The 2026 Chinese Culture Carnival launched Thursday in London’s Chinatown, offering immersive workshops to connect BritishChinese youth with their heritage. Hosted by Guangxi University and organized by the UK Chinese Arts Centre, the 10day program features martial arts, folk songs, calligraphy and crafts such as embroidered balls and porcelain painting. Mao Zhicheng, director of the UK Chinese Art Centre, noted that Chinese culture serves as a vital spiritual bond for Chinese communities worldwide. Through this interactive program, young participants in the UK can not only learn traditional skills but also deepen their understanding of their cultural roots and heritage.
